Welcome to our page! We are the family behind Design A Dog. Our family consists of myself (Mary Ann), my husband (Kevan), and our four children (Rhett, Koltt, Wyatt, and Sawyer). We are so thankful God has allowed us to help so many wonderful people on this journey of finding the perfect pet!

We will only breed dogs who have been genetically tested and cleared. Our goal is to create healthy, happy, well-adjusted puppies that can become incredible family members. In order to do this, we want to be sure that our breeding dogs don't carry any traits or characteristics that could be passed on to future litters. Our studs and dams have all been verified through Embark and vet-checked.  

As we only breed dogs after they have met strict genetic and personality trait tests, we are able to ensure you have a healthy pet, free of congenital disease for a year after purchase. In order to keep this guarantee, your pup must be seen within 48 hours of pickup by a licensed veterinarian. Failure to do so forfeits the health guarantee. Guarantee covers congenital issues only, not issues caused by improper care or diseases picked up from other dogs or environmental factors. 

In order to help ensure our dogs go to the perfect home, we love to assist in temperament matching your pet to your lifestyle. When you discuss what you are looking for, please let us know what the perfect pet would be in your mind. We will use that information to make recommendations based on the traits and characteristics exhibited by puppies at that time. For instance, some puppies are more energetic and would require a home able to match their activity level, while others are perfectly fine being couch potatoes! Many of our dogs have gone into homes as service pets and are doing great as such! With Kevan as a former member of the United States Air Force, we are also thrilled to announce that we have partnered with a veteran program to help provide these wonderful dogs to the men and women who have served for our country! 

While we are located in Western Ky, we do have great delivery options available to help get your pup home to you! In some cases we are able to meet part way, or puppies can be delivered via car or flight depending on location. Please ask us about the options we have available for your specific need!
